Every time I visit Jordan I stay at the Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel. I love the hotel, indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, large outdoor swimming pool, nice hotel bar, great shisha bar on premises and the staff a very friendly and helpful!

Located on 5th circle in Jabal Amman, the views from each room are stunning, no matter what floor!

Except for some minor things this really is a nice hotel but the shortcomings were a few. The biggest. I have serious foot pain and cannot sleep with a heavy comforter on my bed. I've always received something different when I've requested it. A sheet and light blanket. Two days I asked the concierge and was told they would handle it but no one ever responded to this issue. If they fulfill this request someone should advise. If they cannot I find this incredible. I have a non smoking room but can still smell the smoke. Although smoking in public places is illegal in Jordan it is a law never enforced. There is smoke throughout the hotel and my guess this happens at all the hotels in Jordan, even the nice ones. This hotel has a switch you can turn on and a Do Not Disturb light will illuminate in the hall. The cleaning service will ignore this and enter your room anyway. Prepare for your bathroom to be cold/hot depending on the weather. There is no air handler in my bathroom so the bathroom is staying cold as it is cold in Amman right now. The staff here have all been friendly and courteous. I have a choice of where to stay when I come here in the future and I'll likely try another hotel next time.

Nice room with private balcony overlooking the outdoor pool (203). Liked the audio feed from supplied jack tat passed music to TV and also speaker in bathroom. Wifi available in standard and faster flavours (difference 3JD) for streaming. Worked well. Bed is to die for - so comfy! Like being on a cloud.
The pool was nice but as always happens it does get a bit full with "lane plodders" who plough up and down, etc etc. Also tried the steam room with a hint of menthol in the vapours.
Yet to try breakfast and restaurants as had to travel last night to Khartoum and just got back. Room service meal i had before i left hotel at 11:45 ladt night was nice. Large portions! Will do breakfast tomorrow.

It is a sheraton. A very well maintained hotel with high class service.
Its location is not very close to the city center, and like 30 minutes from the airport. That is ok, there is only one good hotel close to the airport as the airport is located in a very far unpopulated area.

Rooms are great. very luxurious. The room service is good and the workers are clean.
Everything you might need is made available in the room. It has iron and table, free tea kit, nice bath, bath robe and slippers...

stayed 3 nights in a club room with access to the club lounge and everything the hotel has to offer.

The hotel location didnt bother/inform us - we had a car so we used that to get around. security was tight and they searched our car each time we drove up to the hotel - no issues with it as it was for our safety overall.

Room was very comfortable and comparable to Sheratons in other major cities. bed was comfy (not sure if it was the sweet sleeper bed). bathroom was big and clean.

we had room service one evening and that was good. we ordered a variation of what was featured on the menu for our toddler and they were happy to accommodate.

Breakfast was in the newly opened/refurbed spice garden - what a spread! almost too much to consume, but guess thats what people expect from hotels like this. no complaints about the food whatsoever, service was fine. we went here for dinner the first night of our stay. since it was new, the staff was a bit unsure about the prices. the concierge finally got someone to tell me what the offering and price was. nevertheless the food was good.

we used the indoor pool on 2 evenings - was heated and comfortable.

the valet service if you have a car was good - didnt have to wait for more than 30 secs before someone took your keys or your card to bring your car.

checkin and checkout was a breeze. free wifi and computers in the lobby area was good.

2 complaints
- baby crib - it took 3 tries before we got a baby crib and bedding that was acceptable. the first time, the housekeeping person wanted to leave us with a crib that would not stand up properly, second time he didnt have a base. finally found the base - it was fine after that. i would expect a hotel like sheraton to have this procedure down like clockwork.
- club lounge - we didnt use the lounge much because it allowed smoking. so, i would expect either a non-smoking area or no smoking at all (which would be standard with other starwood hotels worldwide). the early afternoon offering was not that great - only fruit and water/coffee, but no snacks. you had to come back at 630 for snacks.

regardless of this, we loved the hotel and would definitely return and recommend.

Room Tip: go for a club or towers room!
