“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

A great option in Amman. Location is perfect for visiting the sites. Breakfast here is delicious and plentiful. The rooms are basic, but met all of our needs. Our room had a view of the Roman amphitheater, which was pleasant but not really necessary (you can see the view from the rooftop as well.)

This is probably the nicest hotel staff I have ever met. Not only are they extremely polite but they are completely kind, sweet, warm, and friendly. It makes you completely feel at home. They were also great about holding my bags when I traveled around Egypt, keeping my laptop safe. I can't say enough good things about these guys. You are wonderful!

Staff are friendly and accomodating.Hotel can organise pick up from airport for 28jd.I took advantage of this.Hotel perfectly located to visit the two tourist sites in Amman worth exploring, the roman theatre area and the citadel.Room was "rustic" with fridge, somewhat functioning TV and powerful A/C.Breakfast served in downstairs restaurant was sufficient.Having explored Amman for a bar serving alcohol this restaurant served beer and put on a little show organised by staff for the entertainment of guests.Trips to explore all of ammans touirst sites are available in private taxis.Price can be split between number of guests in car.Drivers are not guides ,they drive you there and back so bring guidebook as reference for various sites. However theyre trustworthy and friendly and will stay waiting for you at sites.Sign up on notice boards in reception area for trips. In conclusion this hotel is in a safe location, reasonably comfortable with staff eager to help and provide information. Its a great budget hotel and within walking distance of tourist sites and rainbow street 20min walk.(bars, cafes, restaurants for ammans wealthy),Al -malek faisal street 10mins walk.(downtowns cafes/restaurants with local vibe). For return to airport take a taxi to tarbabour bus station 3-5 jd.walk up stairs from Jett office.look for yellow coloured express bus (not part of jett service)to airport 3.25jd o/w.leave every hour on the hour.journey time 1hour.buy ticket from driver.drop off arrivals area.If you need trips organised ask for Marwan Samara at hotel.Enjoy!and has they all smilingly say welcome to jordan!

Room Tip: Lift noisy ,so ask for one furthest away.Rooms at back have not street noise.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They can arrange trips seamlessly. Sheets and towels were clean. Room size adequate. No non-smoking rooms. Mosque speaker might be right outside your window so expect a 5am wake up call (short lived, though). Very convenient location for Citadel, Ampitheater, and Rainbow Street but remember, this is the "old" (and dirty) part of town.
Great choice for budget-minded adventuresome types who don't mind rough edges.

The Amman Pasha was highly recommended here on TA, and we planned our stay realising that this was (and definitely is!) a budget hotel. However, the hotel is clean, the staff cannot do enough to help and advise you and the location is excellent for reaching the Citadel and Roman Theater. Being so close to the Roman Theater has its advantages too - every taxi driver in the city knows where where it is! The rooftop terrace is basic, but you couldn't ask for a better location to watch the city at sunset - breathtaking! Could we have stayed in a 4 star International generic business-traveler hotel and enjoyed Amman? Sure. But Amman Pasha is right in the heart of Amman - the noises, and the food and the wonderful, friendly people are all around you! THIS is Jordan.

Good location to explore the local ancient ruins, the night souqs
The breakfast is great
Rooms are very basic, and dated, but they are clean. I wish budget hotels didn't have carpet as it looks and feels like you should keep your shoes on
Lots of tours can be booked from the Hotel but we found better deals with better drivers and cars. Would recommend the Hotel looses the old maniquins outside the front as they are creepy

I am so grateful for you positive criticism .That is most valuable contribution in order to help improve condition in our hotel.
As I stated earlier the carpet has been a big issue of complaint by most guests.
Our hotel is new the carpet is just over one year old.It has been ruined.
Regretfully some of our guests used to eat and even cook in the rooms.
We hare already taken steps to solve this major problem.
We have been replacing carpet by ceramic floor tiles. Most rooms are done very few will be finished soon inshallah..
the other issue of creepy maniquins outside hotels this has been a controversial subject. Some people love them others hate them.
It gave our neghbours lots of laughs .
I thank you for being candid with your well balanced review.
We hope to see you again in future.
