“Visit to Amman - Lunch & Dinner in Amman Pasha Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

I visited the hotel for lunch and dinner. The lunch was really good (the best tuna salad sandwich that I've eaten) and great lentil soup, and the staff were really friendly. They put on a show of dancing show in the evening which was interesting. Gerard

I arrived in Amman in a snow blizzard and the taxi driver met me at the airport and took me to this hotel which was like a sanctuary. I was given a warm welcome, delicious food and entertained with song and dance. The next day the owner lent me his wife's coat so as I could go sightseeing. I stayed three nights and before leaving Jordan returned for a fifth night to such a greeting i felt like the prodigal returning home. This is not just a hotel it is an oasis of beautiful people. I was a woman travelling on my own and felt so lucky to have found this place. Please if you are looking at this review and are thinking about the Amman Pasha do not delay just book it and you will not be disappointed, it is much more that just a hotel.

Room Tip: maybe ask for one away from the lift.

I stayed there in Dec 2012. It is a budget hotel but in terms of services and quality is the best one in the down town. The best part about this hotel there is a dabka party every night which is really interesting. The breakfast was ok and a lot of choices .

If you expect a Sheraton style hotel this is not for you. However if you want a smaller, warm and entertaining & economical hotel where the food is superb, then it is for you.
Australian Ray is semi retired but runs this place mostly to amuse himself. Has a permanent smile on his face, is warm and helpful.
Breakfast had a great choice of food and fruit. Do try his Turkish coffee.
After dinner, Ray and his crew will amuse you with music and dancing. (Mostly men) but females were allowed to join in as well.
To Recap: best hotel in this category we have experienced to date.

I stayed here with my husband and daughter and we were content. The hotel provided clean good size room, comfortable firm bedding. It was in an excellent location in the middle of downtown, close to all shopping- hundreds of souvenier stores and sightseeing.
Tasty breakfast- I even counted 19 different dishes! 10 types of tea, coffee and fruit juice, Arabic bread, French and sliced bread for toast. The restaurant served a great selection of Authentic Arabic food.We have got every thing we needed in one place at a reasonable price.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a good expereicne had. Thanks for having us
