“Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013 via mobile

Its the best restaurant to eat a good Mansaf
Mansaf is the traditional meal of Jordan made out of yogurt with rise plus meat the easy way to find the restaurant is to get direction to the old post office at the city center everyone know where it's then you will be facing the restaurant at the other side of the street it's worth it to try

“great :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

In some of the travel guides they say there is no english menu, but by the time we went they had a small paper with the menu in English.
Locals recommend this place for the mansaf, and this is what we wanted to eat, the local dish: Mansaf. Here you can choose between lamb or chicken, they serve it on rice, with the yoghurt sauce in another plate (they don't make your meat swim in the sauce, like they do in other restaurants). We payed 18.50 jordan dinar for three persons-mansaf and drinks. Locals recommend this place for the mansaf, we had the adress but we almost missed it, from outside it's like a place where they only sell sweets.
If you want to taste the real traditional Jordan dish, you should come here!

“fine mutton based recipes”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

try the stuffed lamb ( kharoof mahshi) and the mutton steak with potatoes and tomatos in the oven. The sweets are not so good, after you finish your meal, walk 30 meters down the road to Habeeba for the kenafeh, then walk down the road 200 metres for the best cane juice, made freshly in fron of you. Total per person about 15 US Dollars. Well worth it.

“OK Food for a Decent Price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2012

Went there with friends of whom one wanted to taste Mansaf the traditional Jordanian dish, in my opinion, it wan't THAT good.

The restaurant seemed clean enough for its location in the down town. And the service was OK.

“The Real Food of Jordan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2012

A place that is popular with locals that offers great Jordanian food at low prices. Take someone with you that speaks Arabic if you can as it will help you find the place and order. Most taxi drivers know where it is.
