“experience the hustle and bustle of amman”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Rainbow street is a long street packed with restaurants, cafes, shops and street vendors.
Take a stoll down Rainbow street late at night and you will be surprised with what's on offer, locals are happy to engage into a polite conversation, the youngsters are cruising past in there cars listening to arabic pop music, guys checking out the girls and vice versa.
Off Rainbow street you can find my favourite hang out, which is books@cafe, a trendy bar/ restaurant where you can meet people from all walks of live.

“coffee shops and bars”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

This street is worth a walk if you want to see lots of people having drinks and coffee. There is not much more here, but there are some good places with nice views.

“UVAS and cafe 56 are amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

good service
excellent food
excellent shisha
the location of UVAS is a little bit tucked away which i liked it, it felt like only the chilled people knew about it.
cafe 56 was up high so you get a breeze and a wonderful view

“Fun watching ammanians enjoy themselves”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

I can't understand all the criticism on here I enjoyed the street. Yes it's not very big and not a famous world thoroughfare but go sit in a cafe, watch the locals smoke hubba bubba and drink coffee or tea and soak in the sights. Safe as houses and the Jordanian people anew very welcoming.

“Good walk but the atmosphere is not soo good”

I was walking around, there are many cafes but the people are a bit dodgy and not so friendly to the foreigners.
