You can not visit Jordan without visiting the Dead Sea, especially after you know about its renowned curative powers and therapeutic qualities. It is also located in the region of all other attractions such as Mount Nebo, Baptism Sight, and Hammamat Ma''in.
It was so much fun to float on the water; we laughed a lot as we first tried to balance ourselves and get used to floating and Not swimming! We took many fun photos too; honestly it is a fun and different experience. Be careful not to splash water on one another because it will burn your eyes! And to all women, do not shave your legs before you go into the Dead Sea or you will burn all over! It is also fun to cover yourself with the mud, although to me, it was a bit disgusting; but I did after all! My husband claims that his skin felt much smoother after his mud bath. If Cleopatra used the Dead Sea mud to treat her skin, why shouldn't we?!
You can either go to the public tourist Amman beach (usually crowded at high seasons) or visit hotels that sell day passes. Most hotels in the Dead Sea Region are 5 star hotels that are located next to each other, except for maybe one 4-star tranquil Warwick resort which is located on the other side. Anyway, I'm sometimes conservative about trying new things, but I learnt to loosen up and enjoy new experiences. And I got many dead sea products for my friends and family, and they were so happy! Finally, I knew how to pick an ideal useful gift for someone!
