We visited the Royal Automobile Museum as part of a tour. We weren’t too excited about this, but as it turned out, we really loved it. According to the literature, the “Museum affords the visitor an insight into the history of the Kingdom through the exhibited cars from the era of King Abdullah I, the founder of the Kingdom, into the era of His Majesty King Abdullah II.” And, that is a true statement, but we really enjoyed the pictures and videos that accompanied some of the pieces. We saw a few cars used by the royal family, including the car carried the casket of King Abdullah I and the Land Rover used when Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip visited Petra. The museum is not huge, but is fun for a couple of hours.
