Very pleasant ambience. Sat on the terrace outside the main restaurant on a warm evening. Generally friendly staff although a couple of them could do with some extra training from Smiley School.
Starter of chicken livers with banana and vanilla caramel was a brave idea (for both the chef and for me), but didn't quite work for this consumer. It tasted like chicken livers......with a banana.
Main course of home made rigatoni with braised vegetable was exactly what it said on the tin.....rigatoni with some braised vegetables. Adequate but hardly inspiring.
All in all, better than average but not quite good, particularly when the bill for two including one bottle of wine, one brandy and a tip came to a hefty $180.
