a small place on the highly active Rothchild Bul., the setting is beautiful, sitting on the bar is highly recommended as the kitchen is open and you get to watch the staff on action but the whole atmosphere is friendly, happy and yet intimate enough. the food is just great, very good first couses include tartar salmon, a local version of kapreze (excellent buffalo muzzarella) and roman salad. the main dishes are excellent (we did not have meat), the different pasta and fish (we were 8) are big portions perfectly executed. the service was the best we had in Israel, our waitress (Tamar) was nice, fluent, professional and friendly, the beverages were handled by her so nicely i almost didnt feel i had a house sangria (very good) 2 glasses on house wine (an excellent blend by the gifted Orna Chillag, shappo!) and a limoncello. the desserts are all good, the best are the ones around chocolate but the tiramisu was perfect too so was the espresso (mauro). what can i say? we'll go there again very soon.
