“GREAT STAY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

This was one of the best 3 nights i've had at a hotel ever. Relatively cheap, spacious, kitchenette, good lighting, good service, duplex with nice clean bathrooms and a great wrap around terrace with a view of Tel Aviv. Breakfast was very nice and filling. Our flight was at night so we asked for a place to leave our stuff in the day, not only did they give us a place, they gave us another room for the whole day until we wanted to leave for the airport. Highly recommend!

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

We booked in for four days at the end of May 2012. Reviews seemed mixed, but we knew the area after a previous weekend in Tel Aviv and took a chance. The price was better than most in this rather expensive town without risking a bargain/nightmare.

Arrival was easy and the desk clerk said he'd try to rearrange the rooms so we wouldn't have to move partway through our stay. It's not a big deal to move rooms, but obviously nice if we didn't have to. Everyday we were told of the changes being made and by the end of our four days we didn't have to move once. It's true that you should never have to move mid-stay, but it was nice that they fixed things during a busy, packed weekend without us having to hound them.

The room was good: small, functional kitchenette; queen bed in the main room, single in the extra bdrm; clean bathroom; lots of storage for clothes and space for general casualness.

The building was quiet even when full. Again, very comfortable to come back to every night.

Downstairs you'll find Caffe Marca (sp?) which is a delightful Italian restaurant. Breakfast was included everyday and featured great coffee and a filling meal. The tables are shaded and offer a charming view of the local street corner.

Location-wise it was a few short blocks to the beach which was basically a non-issue. On Dizengoff you'll find many more small cafes as well as grocery stores that you might want to stock your fridge from.

Great stay really. Very much recommended. Also, be sure to head down to Dizengoff and King George area for one of the best districts in Tel Aviv!

Room Tip: Our window opened up to the back/side alley which was rather quiet. Probably a better choice than s...

NOT A HOTEL....but it was perfect for our fam of 4. Very nice reception people....inexpensive laundry service ...10 minute walk to the beach....our room had 2 floors...2 bathrooms....2 bedrooms..kitchenette

I paid about half of what the Sheraton was asking and had twice the space....we had a private roof top patio to boot. Lots of markets near by to stock up on water and snacks. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. ( I'm normally a westin fan ....but the dizengoff suites was perfect )

Room Tip: Free wifi...in the rooms and free wifi at the restaurant below. If you order a salad know that it wi...

If you are looking for a luxury hotel with a big reception hall--go elsewhere. But if you want to stay in the heart of Tel Aviv, near small art galleries, within a short walk to the sea and in the Dizengoff shopping area, above a pleasant little cafe--this is the place for you. The suites are great for a family, where you can prepare your own food.

Stay away from this sorry excuse for accommodation, how dare they call themselves a "Boutique" hotel. Grotty, dated and miserable, we did our very best to avoid being in our room as much a possible.

Room Tip: Don't stay here!

This hotel is in a convienent location, in a nice old building. It was stormy there and the balcony door leaked both the strong, cold wind and the downpouring rain. The solution was to stuff old towels under the door. We did enjoy the location and loved the cafe (where excellent complementary breakfasts were served) downstairs. We used the cafe on other occasions for a light dinner. Great food, skillful service.
