I stayed in this hotel for 1 night as part of an educational through my work, upon arriving at the hotel it was very well presented and staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were nicely furnished with a lcd tv and an average bathroom, breakfast was good as well with good selection of food, but please note that most of the hotels in Israel are koscher so there may be some restrications to whats on offer, less than 5 min walk to the nearby beach and about a 10-15min walk from where they have a market, only bad point i would say is the cost of drinks in the hotel it worked out about £11 GBP for a vodka and coke - ouch , but if i was coming bk to Tel Aviv i would consider going back to this hotel.

I stayed here following a disastrous night at the Metropolitan. I was pleasantly surprised having stayed at very average Mercure hotels in europe before.

My room was clean, smelled lovely and was not tired in the least. there was an LCD tv (although sound was a bit dodgy) and empty fridge that you could pay for the hotel to fill with juice etc.

The staff were pretty friendly and I was easily able to book a sightseeing trip for the following morning.

The hotel bar was small but nice and the food was lovely, pretty basic (sandwiches and salads) but very nice indeed.

All in all a pleasant stay and only 5 minutes to the beach

“Charming, great value”

We booked a last-minute stay New Year's weekend and we're so glad we did. The hotel is a block from the beach, WiFi is free, and the buffet breakfast (included in the room rate) is delicious. The concierges were all friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. Also, the design is quite chic!

“no customer service and very limited cleaning”

Mercure B and P Tel-Aviv

I stayed for 2 weeks in this hotel for buisiness.

I was on the 10th flour, what is supposed to be the executive floor.

except the bed that was a king size bed, the rest of the room was small. the shower was extremely tiny and the seiling was few centimers from my hairs.

the view was not really pretty but I didn't care

air conditioning is working great, I have to admit.

I had a problem with the fridge : the previous guest left some dairy product and it spills everywhere in the fridge with a nasty smell that goes with it.

it took them 2 days to clean it and I have to go twice at the register to finally have someone to clean it.

my second problem was that i asked them to take my travel bag for repair next door to the repair store and they told me that for security reason noone from the hotel could leave even for 5 mins. For me that ridicilous, the store I'm talking about is 10 step away from the security guy at the door ; even him it would have take him less than 2 mins.

their continental breakfast is very limited : bread, honey, fruit, fruit salad, yogurt, cafe, tea. Sometimes you can get small croissant if you are lucky

The hotel is well situated just off TA's beachfront area. Although the building looks very 1970's, the inside is completely modernised. The room was clean and had all the bits and bobs - an LCD tv, aircon, a fridge for our use, a great clean and shiny bathroom, etc. There was also a safe in the cupboard which is nice for travel documents.

Breakfast was a sizeable affair and served at very flexible hours. The door staff and desk staff were very helpful.

The location is good, but not super fantastic. It's not the prettiest part of town to look at, but it's not dirty or scummy - just nothing stands out. It's a bit further south than most of the major hotels. It's one road back from the beachfront - which is fine, about a 3 minute walk to the beach so no problems. It's also about a 3 minute walk to the beginning of Allenby St so good for the shoppers. So good, but not super-fantastic.

Basically, for the rate we paid, I think we had a great blend of comfort and location.

My only gripe is that I would've preferred a non-smoking room which was requested via Accor's website but not assigned to me.
