“Very Good Option”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

In a nutshell - good location (if you want to be central to most things), nice staff, very good value, lovely decor, very clean - essentially all you're looking for at the middle priced range. There are a number of good cafes nearby including next door (but nowhere is far from a few cafes in Tel Aviv). They also hire out bikes (for no charge) which is a great way to get around the city. A nice touch is the happy hour drinks each night with nibbles in the hotel or next door in its affiliated hotel Cinema Hotel (which also looks very nice). There is a nice rooftop terrace for sundowner drinks if you want. I'd recommend it and go back for sure.

We loved this hotel! The room was a bit small but very nicely decorated and very clean and crisp. The balcony was nice as well. The breakfast was very nice. Service was fabulous at this hotel, very welcoming and helpful! The added surprise of the "happy hour" with snacks and wine in the evening was awesome, very relaxing and nice! Thanks for such a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely accomodating. Natalie was so welcoming and very efficient. The hotel is centrally located to shops, restaurants and transportation. The room was decorated beautifully and very clean. We appreciated the happy hour after touring during the day either at Center Chic or Hotel Cinema across the street.

Located right in the center of the action, on Dizengoff square, so you will not find yourself cut off from the nightlife, the cafes, the beach nor the shopping. It has been recently opened on a renovated Bauhaus building, and its design is in line with fashionable hotels. Although it is on the high end of the budget, Tel Aviv is a rather expensive town.
Staff was quite helpful and kind, rooms might be on the limit for small but are pleasantly decorated. Most rooms have views of the square, and have their own small terrace. There is also a nice rooftop terrace from where you can get a view of the city. Cable TV exists with different language channels, and wifi had good reception and speed.
Despite everything being directed towards the relaxation of guests, and maybe being tempted not to go out due to all the facilities making you feel cozy, there is one important thing missing: sound insulation. It might have been a way to cut costs, but as a result I could hear the garbage truck before 6am, and also the insistent coughing of the guest in the next room.
Breakfast is served in the hotel in front (just two steps away), but there are other options available at different cafes nearby. You can take on loan bikes from the hotel during your stay, but naturally their number is limited and one might wait for turns.
The hotel is worthy of being recommended as a city escapade, which can be good for Israeli weekends when not everything is open.

Room Tip: rooms on top floors and facing the side street

We loved this hotel...nice, helpful staff assisted us with car rental and directions..always had time for us and never were short or nasty. The "happy hour" across the street at the Cinema Hotel was fun. Everything was very clean..the location cannot be beat. Restaurants around the corner and within walking distance and the beach, laundromat close by...really would come back here anytime. Oh, and the fitness center is close by also and discounted

This is a very well located hotel. In the heart of the city tel aviv, everything is just a walk away. Breakfast is provided in another hotel, which is just in front of center hotel. Rooms are small, but for a small stay, they are fine.

My honey and I stayed 3 nights at the Center Chic. This is a very nice hotel, well located, rooms are on the small side, but very clean, smartly decorated, and comfortable (we had a room with a balcony which was enjoyable - with a view down on the plaza/square), and a nice bathroom. The room cost was on the high side for our budget - and that was without breakfast (which was an option) - you can get breakfast near by. There were two restaurants right outside the hotel - one next to and one around the corner - one was Indian cuisine and the other contemporary - both were very good, decent cost, and very convenient. Overall our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. This is a nice place if you are in Tel Aviv and choose not to stay on the water.
