“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2012

Center Chic hotel is a great place to stay in Tel Aviv. It is located right in the shopping area of Tel Aviv and a 10 minutes walk to the beaches. The hotel rents bikes for free (for 3 hours) and right in front of the hotel is a bike station of the city of Tel Aviv. The staff is at the reception is incredible friendly and helpful (not usual in Israel). The rooms are quiet small, but very clean and nicly decorated. If there is anything you want to have changed, like new towles or sheets it will be done right away. The breakfeast is served in the Cinema Hotel, just opposit of the Center Chic Hotel. The breakfeast has a great variety of fresh salats, fruits, bread, bread spread, jam, chees, etc. - it is realy big.
During our stay it was quiet hot and I hate to sleep with the aircondition on. So it can be quiet hot in the room and if you leave the window open you may hear a little of the city. But in most of the rooms they have a fan on the celling, that can be used instead of the airconditioning, what is very helpful (just for those how are not used to sleep with airconditioning).

We stayed at Chic for a week. The rooms are small but decorated with taste and colorful. The service was excellent and anything we needed was immediately arranged. The roof terrace provides an excellent panoramic view of Tel- Aviv and it is very cozy. Breakfast at the adjacent, Cinema hotel is one of the best we have seen in our trip.

The location is right in the center of Tel- Aviv in the famous Kikar Dizzingoff, so you are not far from anything. The price is right and the care is excellent.

We will return.

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for your kind review. It is great to hear that you were so pleased with the hotel. Thank you for your compliments regarding the style and décor of the hotel along with our breakfast. I don't know if you got a chance to see the newly renovated Agam fountain, in the center of Kikar Dizengoff, with its beautiful bright colors. If not you will be quite impressed the next time you stay with us. We thank you for choosing the Center Chic Hotel and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Friendly staff at reception; open on Shabbat (and check-in any time); wine tasting (free, with free snacks) one afternoon; spotlessly clean throughout; divine decor; central location near beautiful modernist buildings; green and gorgeous roof terrace amply supplied with deck chairs and loungers...
It's worth upgrading to a mini suite -- room is large and has kitchenette and seating area. Mine gave onto an inner courtyard but had plenty of light as it was on a high floor (lower down they may be a bit darker).
A superb hotel and highly recommended for the discerning traveller who doesn't want to be bothered by all the extravagant nonsense of a larger establishment (shoe-shine service, bell hop, masseur, etc.).
If I have to go again to Tel Aviv I will definitely stay here.

Room Tip: Probably best to request a mini suite (for the size) and on a high floor (for the light) looking ont...

I loved this hotel - the room was just perfect for me with - good standard, with a lovely balcony and all amenities you need. Perfect location in the city in a quite area and only 10 minutes walk to the beach. You can also rent a bike for free. I stayed there for 9 nights, very satisfied with everything.

We stayed there at the beginning of our israel tour and the last might. We had very nice rooms, not big but very colorful and nice balcony. Great bathroom, especially the shower. Great location to visit everything you want to visit. Breakfast across the road was very good. We would go back there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Center Chic hotel. The room was funky, and the bathroom was small by finished to a high standard, and very much to our tastes. The balcony was a welcome addition. The cleanliness was to a high standard. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic - very central. We particularly liked the roof to garden - a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view with a cold beer. Our only criticism of the hotel, and the thing that stopped as rating it 'excellent' was that we found it very noisy - not the noise from outside, but the guests in the adjoining room and from downstairs. The sound proofing needs improving. Having said that, we loved the hotel, found it good value, and in spite of the noise, will definitely stay again.

Let me start by saying the Hotel looks great, and the staff were excellent! It was also immaculately clean!... But we had a few issues with our room, which was located on the 2nd floor. We knew it was going to be small, but we didn't expect it to be so small that only one bedside cabinet could fit into our room, therefore leaving my Husband to put his things on the floor - which was literally a foot away from the bathroom sliding door, not ideal.
The Bathroom was lovely, although it had a frosted glass door - so if you should need the toilet during the night it was best to go in the dark, otherwise risk waking up your partner!
Another issue we had during our stay was noise. Unfortunately we heard other people in their bathrooms, and the occasional drilling from somewhere inside the hotel! The roof terrace was beautiful, but it was closed for some upgrading when we were there, which was a big shame (that was probably the drilling).
The Hotel is in a pretty good location, great for shopping, and a few blocks from the beach.
I do recommend this hotel, but if you're keen on space this isn't for you!
