Owner description: This neighbourhood is not touted in any of the Tel Aviv tourist brochures, the way its next door neighbour, Neve Tzedek, is. Few of the 50 to 70-year-old buildings have been renovated, though here, in terms of density, is Tel Aviv's largest concentration of Bauhaus architecture.

“Nice Area At Night For Low Key Lounges and Bars”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

This area at night time hosts many small bars that have vastly differing venues. Everything from simple beer bars to upscale wine tasting to posh cocktail lounge. Many of the locations double as an eatery.

If you are looking to park your car take a taxi and have a 30+ something night then this is the area you are looking for in Tel Aviv.

“Most unique neighborhood in Tel - Aviv”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2012

It is characterized by many young people who live in it, every day is a celebration if you visit you will be feeling on the industrial area, but at night the place is changing and the streets are filled with a wonderful atmosphere visitors
And a large selection of entertainment at fair prices, if all that you visit on Go to galleries and beautiful design shops, if you decide to visit in the morning afternoon tour can be combined, in Loonisky Market now becomes the next compound in Tel - Aviv

Old houses- young people !This is the most wanted to rent area by young people because of its unique style- and architecture of the late 1800 -early 1900. “Nice historic area to knock about!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2012

Florentine is an old historic neighborhood that is becoming gentrified, but it is an uphill struggle, as the parking and public transportation is minimal, due to the maze of narrow one-way streets.

But l like it. The streets are named after important places and institutions of the pre-State days, and some of the old craft shops (furniture, mostly, but some metalwork and electrical work) are still there.

There are also cozy, less noisy bars, and the Levinsky Market - no vegetables and rags like the Carmel Market, but lots of dried stuff - nuts, beans, grains, spices, etc.
