“Great place and friendly atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Top class food top class service. We were here last week with my wife and we got the best service possible - the staff was polite and attending. We both enjoyed the crispy duck and it was very tasty. we are going back for sure.

“Best Chinese Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

I am surprised by the negative reviews. We had a complete different experience. The Chinese food at China Court was outstanding. They came out piping hot, delicious and very authentic. We all enjoyed our meal. One lady in our party is actually from Hong Kong. She has had her thumbs up on the food. We also saw some Chinese eating there. All of these are always good indicators. Reasonable prices on drink. Friendly & welcoming staff (or owner). We will definitely recommend to any friend who visit Tel Aviv. Well-done!

“Consistently delivers. Authentic Hong Kong cuisine.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

I'm a regular who loves this place, and I've reviewed it below. I was there just the other day, and I'm baffled by two recent negative reviews by reviewers with barely any reviews to their names. Readers can draw their own conclusions about this place which, since being added to TripAdvisor only this year, has risen to the top 40 Tel Aviv restaurants. Deservedly.

Also fascinated by those people who are so-called "connoisseurs" of Chinese food, who proceed to tell you that this is "American Chinese" food, and isn't at all like the places they went to when they went on exchange to Szechuan province studying "Critiquing Restaurants To Make It Sound Like You're Cultured 101." That's all very well and good, but what are you expecting on Shalom Aleichem Street in Tel Aviv? Egg rolls made of authentic panda nipples garnished with the tears of Foxconn employees? Give me a break.

China Court is one of the only authentic Chinese places left in Israel, and one of its best, at a time when Israelis are obsessed with other Asian cuisines for which there are exactly zero authentic options. Try getting a butter chicken masala or pad see yew in Tel Aviv. Best of luck with that.

Here you'll find lemon chicken, chow mein, kung pao, sizzling beef, duck pancakes, fried rice, chicken and sweet corn soup, fried ice cream, and everything else you'd expect. It's tasty and piping hot (no idea what the reviewer who claimed it to be "lukewarm" ordered - perhaps that guy should have ordered the sizzling steak.)

This is not Michelin star material, nor is it super cheap, but then what Mensa candidate shows up at a Chinese restaurant in the Promised Land expecting a tasting menu for 10 shekels?

China Court will satisfy all your neon red colored sweet and sour sauce cravings. Reservations recommended. Five duck pancakes out of five.

“disappionting”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

went there with my wife, after passing bye so many times and promising myself to step in next time.
the all crew is chinese, what give my a big hope a bout the visit but..... unfortunatly the food was tastless and disappointing, pricing was too high and actualy the only good thing was the service.
all in all, low value for money.

“Terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

I might be still "on the rebound" from Greek food after a long weekend in Athens but this place was just awful. Lukewarm, tasteless and not tasty food which was served two minutes after they took our order. I dont't know what other reviewers on here are raving about ("Outstanding", "Best Chinese food in Tel Aviv" etc.) and how come it's currently ranked #33 in the city but this place should be avoided when there are so many options around (e.g. in Bograshov St.) Overpriced for a Chinese restaurant: NIS 200 (€40) for two mains, rice and 2 glasses of red. My first ever "terrible" review on TripAdvisor.
