“Every dish was amazing, fantastic atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

I was taken here by locals (you need to, if you can't read the menu in Hebrew!) We sat outside and the atmosphere is amazing. Get there early as it gets so busy. Fantastic music with a great DJ, our friend picked all the dishes and it was like sharing plates, and each dish was absolutely delicious. Try the beef tartare and the stewed beef and the aubergine with tahina - literally everything we ate was fantastic, even the tahina, the beans houmous and the bread. Then we got an apple pie dessert which was also great. This is a real find and luckily not a tourist trap so don't tell too many people about it, but definitely go!

“Rating this 4 for the atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

The atmosphere is great, it's very lively and upbeat and an ideal place to meet with friends. But the staff are aggressive and unhelpful, I waited forty minutes for a table and left after the waiter gave our table to another group.

“Excellent food and rocking vibe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

My Telavivian friend brought me to this place on my recent trip to Tel Aviv and the food was so amazing I came back the following night for more. There is music coming from a turntable and 100s of vinyl records on the side wall. Most seating is outside, although some bar stools inside are also available. The menu is only available in Hebrew so bring a friend who can translate or let the waiter just bring you some dishes on their recommendation. On the two nights we tried several dishes (they are a bit bigger than a tapa but small enough you can share a few dishes between two). The highlights: roasted eggplant, beef carpaccio, and lamb stew. Pretty much everything we tried was delicious, though, if anything their apple crumble with cream was a bit blah. Definitely show up before 8:30 if you want to be assured of a place to sit right away. And don't be put off by the "dishware" which for most dishes is composed of cardboard.

“Best in Middle West!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

Restaurant led by Eyal Shani - Isreli star chef. Do not expect white tablecloth tho... The atmosphere is very relaxed, the crowd is young and hip, dj plays great music from vinyls... Very crowded, do not take reservations, will not make you wait long - the host will take care of you very efficiently. Prices are reasonable. The menu is in Hebrew only, which to me undoubtely is a proof of a more "indigenous" character of the place. Do not worry though - one of the nice waitresses will take care of you so that you won't regret the choices of food she will make for you. Highly recommendable!!!

“Great food by Israeli chef shani”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

This hybrid bar restaurant offers superb Israeli food in a relaxed bar setting. We tried as many if the small plates as possible: grilled fennel, spinach, bread salad with best tahini ever, chicken liver, minute steak, etc,, etc, staff is super friendly and enjoy a typical TLV night out.
