“Adorable side street with unique boutiques”

Small street but filled to the brim with boutiques and few cafes ...Great afternoon idea to walk up and down checking out the shops.

“Trendy street turned upmarket”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

For many years Sheinkin street was famous for being a gay-friendly, trendy little street filled with small cafes, restaurants and shops. It has now turned into an upmarket street mostly filled with expensive restaurants and shops, even if a few of the older places have survived rents rises. Most of the hype moved south, to Neve Tzedek, Rotschild street and Florentine.

“Pretentious and rather boring.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

This famous street is supposed to be a very hip and trendy street in Tel Aviv, but personally I found it to be filled with pretentious café dwellers and only good for some shopping.
It sort of reminded me of NYC's Greenwich Village, to some extent.
Some Tel Avivians regard this street as the beating heart of Tel Aviv. Oh well... .
Don't even think about going there with a car. Parking is impossible. Literally.
