“Great modernist building undergoing full internal reconstruction”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

The is the home of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra led by Zubin Mehta. A prime Tel Aviv venue for performing acts of all kinds - especially classical music.
It is undergoing major internal reconstruction planned to be completed in the middle of 2013.
Israeli music lovers await improvement in the accustics of this great hall.

“magic garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

A few wooden steps surround a sunken garden below the surface of the square. It helps to move slowly down those steps, preferably holding a baby's hand... in my case, my grandaughter's. After the first step, the beautiful flowers below us came into a greater focus and then... the magic started; as if from nowhere, clasical music exchanged itself for the distant t sounds of traffic. By then, the flowers' scent interacted with the music and the love affair which I have with my granddaughter. We have visited this place regularly for over a year, sometimes the seasons overcame the quality of the plants, however, not for too long. It's a magical garden, from which we, granddaughter and gran'pa, emerge with renewed strength and optimism.
