“Habima theatre and square”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

The new building looks good.
I think that Mann auditorium is also being renovated.
It is at a nice end of Shederot Rothchild.
Part of the square is taken by car parking, which spoils it somewhat.
But parking is sorely needed.

“Fantastic square in the middle of Tel Aviv.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

REally pleasant to sit awhile in the sunken garden and listen to music coming out of the seats/surround. Right next to the Mann Auditorium.

“I'm so lucky I live right next door!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Big wonderful square with pool and flowers and a few restaurants and plenty of places to sit down and have a city picnic. Full of life and noise and happenings! Didn't bring a picnic basket? Right across the way on Rothschild Blvd you can buy a pizza, and on Marmorek Street, opposite the Square there is a supermarket, an icecream place and a couple of restaurants you can take away from! Enjoy, any time of the day. The neighborhood is safe 24/7, I have been living there since 1983!

“Rest for tired eyes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Take a break in the recently created Habimah Square which spreads it's white beauty between the recently renovated National Theatre and the Israel Philharmonic Hall currently undergoing restoration...the white expanse is highlighted by a famous sculpture and a crowned by a great shade tree surrounded by benches and seats. There's a reflecting pool (careful, it's not a mirage and it looks as if anyone could mistakenly fall in) but the best part is a sunken garden of benches surrounding a variety of flora...and when you are done there you can wander into either a cafe restaurant on the grounds or further on to the Helena Rubinstein wing of the Tel Aviv Museum and its adjoining garden also recently updated--all in the same complex. Another of Tel Aviv's delights.

“A beautiful white square to match the white city Tel Aviv.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013 via mobile

A great white square where you can sit and read a book or gave a coffee. It is Israel'a version of Lincoln Center with Habima Theater and concert hall one next to the other. A perfect little stop on your walking tour of Tel Aviv.
