“Important Historical Hall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

Recently visited The Independence Hall of Israel in Tel Aviv- Didn't know what I was going to experience but this was a very important and informative part of the total experience of Israel and It's birth. Part of the more modern history of how Israel came to declare itself a Jewish state in an uncertain times for the Jews in the aftermath of the world's greatest tragedy. The Independence Hall instilled a strong sense of pride for the backbone of the emerging Jewish people - we will never be victims again! I highly recommend this hall as part of a tour of Israel! “Do not miss; story of Israel's path to statehood comes to life in 60 minutes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

The English-speaking guide made this important trip through Israel's statehood come to life and was enjoyed by adults and the high school kids in our group. A short but important tour, definitely worth the time. (without the tour, the building itself is not much to see except the famous room that is in all of the historic pictures...take the tour...worthwhile 60 minutes)

“Small museum but very important”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

This was the building where the actual declaration was signed. You watch a little film and then you go into the actual room and hear all the actual audio of the day. It is not a huge museum, but it is interesting. It seems the Israelis don't know where it is though so you have to look for the statue of the horse. It's Mayor Meyer's Mare which makes it easier to remember.

“Interesting”

Independence Hall was interesting and enjoyed learning the history of the building. Our guide was not as I depth as our tour guide was. But still enjoyed.

“Not very good experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2013

Have been here before but this time, no English language tours, perhaps due to the off-season timing. Worthwhile if you call, plan ahead and get there for a real tour. Otherwise you miss the emotional experience
