I transferred from the Intercontinental to the Dan Tel Aviv to be with friends whom are in a band traveling on a world tour. I was shocked to see the condition of the hotel when I arrived, knowing the room rates are higher than those of the Intercontinental. We were ushered to a street facing "renovated" deluxe room on the fifth floor. The room was very dark with one small window over the bed. We immediatly asked to be moved to an ocean view room and were told that although more expensive were not renovated. The ocean view room's only redeeming factor was a large window looking out to the sea. The hotel needs a MAJOR RENOVATION asap. If the promoter of the concert was not paying for my stay, I would have moved back to the Intercontinental. The only thing I can say was great about this hotel is the Israeli breakfast buffet. It was AMAZING!
