“Great Place to Stay in Tel Aviv”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2009

Overall this was an excellent choice. Room was clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was very good, as was afternoon snack (5 - 8 PM). Most appreciated was helpfullness of front desk staff, they helped with everything, including making phone calls for us. Hotel is about a ten minute walk from the beach and be sure to check out Benedict's restaurant, about a two minute walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with our two children ages 9 and 12. Clean, comfortable, modern hotel with very helpful staff (from the front desk to the woman who helped me assemble a breakfast tray for my sleeping husband and daughter). The breakfasts are amazing, something for everyone -- delicious salads, smoked fish, nutella!! Very sweet touches, can order all kinds of packages including the movie package where you get a DVD from the front desk and the staff brings popcorn to your room. Rooms are small, clean and modern. Beautful rooftop that overlooks the Meditteranean.

We were very pleased with our six night stay at the Melody during July of 2009. Although the Atlas hotel reservation system malfunctioned and the room type we reserved was not available, the Melody staff worked hard to accomodate our needs and in the end we were very satisfied. The hotel has recently been redone and the rooms are lovely if a bit spare. Excellent Israeli breakfasts are included and the staff supplied us with numerous details and bottles of water to survive the brutal Tel Aviv summer.

The location is excellent--on HaYarkon right across the street from Independence Park and the beach, walking distance to many points of interest and to the Port area of restaurants and bars. Rooftop deck with killer views, free evening wine reception, free Wi-fi in the rooms and computers in the lobby. What's not to like?

All in all, a teriffic small ("boutique") hotel with surprisingly good service. Highly recommended.

Our family stayed at the Melody for a family wedding -- the hip and clean environment with personal service and fabulous breakfasts included -- we could not have asked for more to make all members of the family feel welcome. This is the place to stay in Tel Aviv. The rooftop, overlooking the sea and the city, is priceless. Many of the rooms overlook the sea. What a treat.

We had a great stay at the Melody. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They were willing to answer our questions and help arrange transportation. Breakfast was delicious and the afternoon wine and snacks was a welcome event after touring. If I ever get back to Tel Aviv, the Melody is where I will stay.

We had a great stay at the Melody Hotel. Rooms were very nice. Rooms with twin beds (that could be pushed together to make king) were much bigger than room with double bed. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Rooftop terrace is great place to relax with super view of city and beach. Breakfast very nice. Free internet access in lobby was helpful. Beach towels, water, bag were a nice treat. 10 minute walk to beach. 5 min. walk to cafes on Dizengoff.

Stayed at Melody for a week. Both Internet at the lobby and wireless internet at the room for free. The breakfast is very good and they serve snacks at the lobby in the afternoon. The room is very nice, clean and modern. The hotel is also very well located. I highly recommend this hotel!
