“THE place to stay in Tel Aviv”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

With a perfect location, friendly staff, a rooftop terrace, amazing breakfast, and comfortable rooms, what more what you possible want? (you could spend twice as much and stay at one of the mega hotels down the street, but that would be a shame)

If you are looking to splurge, the suites are worth it.

The Melody Hotel in Tel Aviv proved to be a delightful experience with an incredibly friendly, professional and helpful staff, spectacular breakfasts and a glorious rooftop view for watching sunsets during their free Happy Hour. Conveniently located on HaYarkon Street where all the foreign embassies seem to have their home, it is literally a block from the Mediterranean Sea and two blocks away from Dizengoff Street, the main shopping street. It is the kind of boutique hotel that inspires conversations between guests in the lobby and breakfast area. The rooms are small but very modern and clean and the staff is willing to accommodate requests for that last minute need of an iron or bottle of water. Cabs are always readily available and local buses can be found a block away. Free internet service, a mini supply of office supplies and available computers in the lobby are added pluses for the business traveller. Frankly, I can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Rooms in the back tend to be quieter but without the view.

I've been coming to this hotel for the last 6 years - and the standards not only remained high - they improved! The friendliest reception guys, the sweet clean fresh rooms, everything that a boutique hotel should be - friendly, yet super-professional.
The breakfast alone is worth coming: little buffet that has the best Israeli breakfast. And the kitchen stuff will accommodate any special request with a smile.
They serve snacks & drinks from 5-9 PM, again - so pleasant.
Going to the beach? they'll give you a bag with towls & water bottles. Forgot your toiletry? no problem, they got it.
bicycle ride around town? it's free.
The roof has gorgeous white lounge-chairs with large pillows, we spent hot morning there reading, sipping coffee & drinks from the breakfast bar, great breeze, views of the sea - I mean, my friend who lives in Tel-Aviv wants to spend a weekend there... so there. Worth every penny and I'm looking forward for nest visit.

It is very hard to find a good, well-priced and modern hotel on the beach of Tel Aviv. We had a enormous luck when we found MELODY.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is excellent.
From the roof you can see the beautiful sea and also the city of Tel Aviv. You have an exciting 360° view!
Every evening there is "happy hour", when you can get some snack and drinks in the lobby.
The variety of the food ist huge and it is dilicious!
The staff is VERY mindful, you can get recommendations (what to do/where to go in the city) and useful package to the beach!
I can just recommend them, if you choose this hotel to stay, I am sure you won`t regret it, moreover you will love it!

Room Tip: Higher level with seaview

I travel a lot on both business and pleasure. What I find important in a hotel are the simple things: a good bed, a clean room, hot water in the shower, walls that don't carry sound from the room next door, a well ordered kitchen and friendly reliable people at the front desk. The Melody gets perfect marks on all counts! Rooms are compact, but very well laid out.The location is great. The beach is across the street, but don't miss the roof top lounge as a place to relax for some quiet moments in the sun. Altogether, excellent value

We stayed at the Melody Hotel for 3 nights last week. It was our 5th time at this hotel and, once
again, we didn't regret it. Our room - the Junior Suite on the 7th floor - was large and well-equipped, and the floor-to-ceiling windows faced the very dramatic city sky-scape. All the areas in the hotel were clean and attractive, as was our room. The staff was welcoming, attentive, courteous and pleasant. We were provided with all the necessary accessories for going to the close-by beach (towels, water, etc.). The location of the Melody is excellent, across the road from a lovely park, within walking distance of the Port, and two minutes from Ben-Yehuda with a variety of eateries. The roof garden and terrace, with comfortable loungers, has an outstanding view all the way along the coast to Jaffa, and is the perfect place to sit with a drink and watch the sun set over the sea.
We plan to go back as soon as we can!

Room Tip: The Junior Suite is on the top floor and faces the city so is quieter. It's very roomy, with a...
