“Good 1st night in country”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

Excellent place after long trip to prepare for busy days ahead. Room comfortable and spacious. Meals were delicious including dinner and breakfast. Service was also great. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

On our first night in Israel, we stayed here as part of a tour. We were given Room 1326 which had a pretty good view towards the beach.
Pros:
- large and clean room
- king size bed
- nice bathroom
- very quiet room and hallway
- great and helpful staff
- really good buffet breakfast
Cons:
- hotel is somewhat dated
- bed is very hard and the blankets don't really cover both people (we used two separate blankets and it solved the problem)

There is free wi-fi in the lobby, but if you need to use their computers in the business office, it is 10 Shekels for 20 minutes (quite expensive).

We really liked our short stay at the hotel and would stay here if in Tel Aviv again.

If you spend time in the evening at the hotel lobby, the house pianist gives a wonderfull preformance. After a long day of meetings, listening to the pianist play is very relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, and service at the front desk was kind. Something about the Israeli breakfast, if you have time before going out for a full day of meetings, it is highly recommende. Very tastefull. I had a great experiance.

I travel extensively and this is the worst service I have ever received. The hotel is tired and sleepy and the service staff walk around like zombies ignoring the guests. My fiancee and I had trouble getting anyone to serve us. Finally we sat at the bar and after several minutes we were served. We saw a waitress eating food and sucking on her fingers before she served a table.

The location is very good, right in front of the beach and walking distance to old Jaffa but also to shopping areas.

The breakfast is great: big variety and healthy options as well.

The Club Lounge on the top floor is nice and relaxing.

Just stayed there 1/22. I'll start with the one good thing about the hotel - great location. Concierge was very nice and professional. Some of the staff in restaurant & bar were very nice. Did not feel welcomed by anyone else. There didn't appear to be any kind of security at all at the entrance to hotel or in lobby. Located very close to American Embassy, so one would expect more. Hotel is very, very dated and is under renovation - believe me, you can hear the sounds of saws, drills & hammers all day long - was awakened one morning at 0741. Cannot even get down the halls with your luggage but for all the maids carts, vacuums, etc. blocking the hallway. Seems so unorganized - so "Holiday Inn." Room was dirty on 15th floor-so much dust behind door looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. Black carpet shows everything that was left behind from previous guests. It was as if it had not been cleaned at all before the room was given to me. Mold in some of bath tile grout. It was in the high 60's. If your room faces the sun there is no a/c available-miserably hot even with door open to balcony.

Room Tip: Do not get a room that allows any kind of direct sunlight. Did not use the spa so cannot comment...

I spent 6 nights at the hotel on business and found the staff and the service outstanding. Yes the room still needs some attention but the staff and the service made up for it. Their breakfast is to die for and we had some business lunches that were outstanding. Never seen such an amazing spread for lunch
A great experience
