“the best restaurant in Israel, and one of the best in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

the best place to eat, if you can afford it. I go there with my family and friends as well as for business, and it is always good and friendly.

“the best sushi in israel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

the place is rediculously expensive, but you definitely get an out of this world taste of the japanese cuisine with the feshest fish the sea could provide, master sushi chefs and great plates.
don't miss if you can afford it.

“incredably good if you know what to order”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

this menu can be confusing, there are many dishes, simple and extraordinary. i have tried the entire menu several times. with yakimono you have to go with the special dishes. the standard sushi dishes are obviously with fresh fish, homemade ginger but not worth the price. go with the special dishes, or the tasting menu, which is superb! must have: ebi kurma, sashimi salad, ika celery, goma sushi, nigiri special, hamachi nitsku, salmon skin temaki, choose the freshest white fish in the fish bar and ask for it sashimi, its cut perfectly and served on ice

“Excellent food bad service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

One of the best Japanese food in Tel Aviv however the service which is poor and the patronizing waiter reduce the overall experience. Although the food was good we do not feel we want to visit this very expensive Resturant again

“Hilton TLV branch of Yakimono (kosher)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

Yakimono also has a kosher branch at the Hilton Tel Aviv. It's as good as the non-Kosher restaurant (albeit with a narrower menu). As someone highly allergic to shellfish, I go there quite a lot and absolutely love it. The staff are pretty friendly and the food is excellent. My favourite dishes are the agedashi dofu (mis-spelt 'tofu' on its menu), the mixed (tuna, salmon, sea bass) sashimi with ponsi sauce (soy sauce, lemon juice and a hint of chillis) and the salmon avocado hand rolls. I do recommend you experiment as everything is pretty good. The staff are pretty good at recommending things. Cheap it isn't, but it's good for entertaining. They also deilver room service at the Hilton Tel Aviv, which is fantastic when you fancy a quiet meal in your room.
