This is a really unique restaurant, starting with the unusual decor that fits in well with its Jaffa location. We sat in the indoor-outdoor area. Keep in mind that you're in a building that is very, very old, which is part of the appeal, so if you're looking for a crisp, modern atmosphere, this isn't it. Service was friendly and attentive. We tried a little over everything, from fresh salads and hummus to shakshuka to various chickens and meats (beef, sausage, shawarma, lamb). Everything was very tasty and the shakshuka was homey tasting - like something I'd wished I'd been eating my entire life. Dinner came with lemonade, mint tea, and small pastries for dessert. At about $60 pp including a bottle of wine, it wasn't cheap, but the food was plentiful. One note - if you aren't into Middle Eastern cuisine and sauces, then this may not be up your alley. Some of the food is prepared with oil and spices that were too much for some in our party who are used to a different diet. If you like Middle Eastern food, you'll love this place.
