“Well worth a visit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

Educational without being didactic. The organization of the exhibit is easy to follow and, at the same time, eye-catching and easily accessible. The final memorial area is moving. All in all, it upsets me that more people don't seem to visit. Also, the Center has gone out of its way to show Rabin's focus on peace. The writing is in Hebrew, English, and Arabic, but the population that attends is not as multi-cultural as it should be. A pity! It's a must see on any level.

“A must!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

During my recent trip to Israel, I spent over 3 hours at the Yithak Rabin Center which presents a chronological view of the late Prime Minister's life which also gives great insight into Israeli history. The story is told through excellent photos and videos.

“The Real Tel-Aviv”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

Sure, its just a square. Not impressive in any way, except for a small lotus pond thats been newly put there. But this is true Tel-Aviv. Every Tel-Avivian spends time here. If its on the way to the theatre, or out to the Brasserie (an excellent eatery open all night) or to smoke a J next to the pond for a quick session with some friends, Kikar Rabin is Tel-Aviv.

“Don't miss this museum...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

This is one of the lesser know museums in Israel but was on my list nonetheless and it completely took me by surprise. It is one of the most well-done museum exhibits that I have ever visited. The museum covers the life of Yithak Rabin, Israel's assassinated prime minister. His life unfolds to you through the lens of both Israeli history and world history, providing great frameworks for what was going on during each decade. Each visitor is given an audio headset that is triggered when you move close to an exhibit. It should be the first stop for people who no nothing about Israeli history. Everything is completely interactive. It costs 50NIS (about $12US) for adults but is free the week of November that commemorates his death.

“Excellent museum for Israel contemporary history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

Take heed of previous reviewers' advice and allow enough time, preferably three hours, for this museum. It is close to Eretz Israel museum and shares a parking lot with it; however, the path to the museum is not well marked. Museum provides the visitors with intelligent headphones; the headphones recognize what you are watching and chooses the corresponding explanation. This works mostly very well. Our visit left me with a sad feeling: the bullet that killed Rabin seems to have killed also the peace process.
