Extremely pleasant experience, in all respects. For the food, I had a tuna sashimi first course, a bit too much sourness in the sauce but otherwise excellent. A grilled sea bream, perfectly done (nice crispy skin, fish cooked to just the right point) with an interesting but not overly assertive sauce based on lemongrass and a pile of fresh herbs on the side. Wonderful combination. And even the rice on the side had some real character. An OK tarte tatin for dessert, and a fine grappa (how has Israel discovered the wonders of interesting grappa, when most of the world hasn't?). Nice atmosphere, very attentive (but not obtrusive) service. Altogether a fine meal. [My only negative is that the dresses worn by all of the women serving are not actually very flattering...]
