This was probably the one hotel in my vacation I was looking forward to. Reading amazing reviews and just teh concept of an art center mixed with a hotel sounded enticing. To not end in a sour note I will start with the bad. The decor and furnishing OUTSIDE the rooms were very nice, however the decor and furnishings INSIDE were reflective of a nice 3 star hotel. We had a two bedroom and the second bedroom was completely empty. It was too small to fit a bed but they could have easily used the space as a mini office or put some art on the walls. The balcony was HUGE but it was pretty much empty a table with an ash tray and two lack luster chairs. Inside the actual bedroom was an ok bed with ok bedding. The good? Staff were very nice, location is PRIME for exploring tel aviv and its also very close to night life and late night restauraunts. They also have a happy hour with a free champagne drink. There was a water outage in the area and they gave us a complimentary breakfast in their sister hotel down the street. I get that a "good" review should be good enough but its really the minor details of the positive collective that made me refrain from giving this hotel a 3 instead of a 4.

My favorite place to stay in Tel Aviv! Friendly staff, great location, great aesthetics. For the traveler seeking a change from the big beach hotels and seeking something more intimate and hip.
Have stayed here previously and have recommended it to many pleased friends.

A terrific small hotel in downtown Tel Aviv near the historic parts of the city on a lovely quiet street. We stayed in a suite for a week with a large living area and a nice sized bedroom and a balcony. The desk service was friendly and incredibly helpful in all aspects of our stay. The rooms were nicely furnished and immaculate. highly recommended for a stay in Tel Aviv. there is no restaurant but they are adding a cafe which will be a nice addition.

We loved our experience! Such friendly and helpful staff who always greeted with a big smile, even when we were seen stumbling home at 5am. A spacious room (actually apartment) with a comfy king bed with funky black linen, kitchen, living room, functional bathroom and lots of cool art all for sale. All very clean. High speed and free wifi. Nespresso and juice for the mornings. Great location in the heart of cosmopolitan Tel Aviv. We will most definetly be back, and be recommending!

I stayed at the Diaghilev during my first visit to Tel Aviv and was surprised by the high quality of service provided by the staff. I had not seen that in any other hotel I've been to. They really went the extra mile to make sure my experience was perfect. From providing a free espresso anytime I felt like having one, to providing free printing for a document I needed urgently printed. When I needed to buy something or get some special food, they also put effort to find out where I could go, call for availability and give me accurate directions. The accommodations were also very good: nice decor that lived up to the hotel name, handy appliances (fridge, electric kettle) and kitchenette. Location is good because it's close to Rothschild Street, full of restaurants and bars/coffee shops that are open late. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again if I go to Tel Aviv.

We spent two nights in the Diaghilev. Such a lovely, quiet, relaxing hotel, where every detail is perfect, such as the black pebbles in the bathroom, or the beautiful black-and-clear toothpaste rinsing glass. Beautiful, quiet environment too, with the Gastro-Pub on the corner. The staff at reception were unbelievably pleasant and helpful, and Anat is so warm, energetic, and proud of their achievement. The only problem we encountered was that the wifi was erratic. A lovely way of ending our time in Israel

The hotel understand what a travelling wants. There is an important distinction between tourist and traveller. The rooms are large and airy. The Nespresso machine is a god-send for those who are addicted to their first cup before leaving the room. Being a suite there is room to just chill without having to go out.
A great new addition will be the cafe on the ground floor.
