Charming Boutique hotel, perfectly located in the the heart of Tel-Aviv, beautifully decorated
yet makes you feel like home..
Very specious suites, super clean & the most amazing shower soap ever!!
Service was very kind and welcoming - pleasure.
This is without a doubt one of the loveliest hotels in Tel-Aviv.

Room Tip: Get a room on a high floor with a balcony facing the city!

Modern and very well decorated hotel in a well preserved Bauhaus building.
The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. We were upgraded to a better room and one night they even gave a bottle of champagne as a courtesy even tough it was our first time at the hotel (and probably not the last).

The Diaghilev is a terrific place to stay. Our room was spacious, the neighborhood had plenty of cafes and restaurants, and we were close to everything. The owners and staff are very hospitable.

This hotel was not listed in a single one of three travel guides I reviewed. Oh, life before Trip Advisor used to be so hard! We initially planned to stay at one of the large hotels on the beach, but after reading all the negative reviews regarding their poor service, I chose the Diaghilev based on the TripAdvisor reviews, and booked two suites for myself, my husband and our two college-aged children.
The suites were spacious and stylish, each with a bedroom, living room with a huge flat-screen TV, and kitchen. They were a great value for the price. Even though, initially, I thought we did not need so much room, it was very nice to come back after a long day of sightseeing, and to enjoy time as a family gathered in the living room reading books or watching movies. After only three days, I had to keep reminding myself that I did not live there.
The hotel is situated on a pretty, residential street right off Rothschild Boulevard, and the neighborhood has tons of restaurants and bars. I loved the location. We walked to the lovely, trendy Neve Tzedek neighborhood, Carmel Market, the art museum, the beach and even to Jaffa, although the latter was a bit of a hike. (The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the beach, but we visited in February, so being next to the beach was not important to us.)
The staff was very helpful in answering all our questions, and the extra touches such as free bottles of juice and champagne in the rooms was a pleasant surprise. The adjoinng parking garage was a real convenience. The only complaint I have is that our bedroom was so quiet and peaceful that we kept over-sleeping!

We decided to escape for the weekend from our apartmert which was under renovation and in poor shape, to spend the weekend elsewhere. I perused the possiblity in Tel aviv my home towm and found out that in the very environment I was born and raised there are exhilarating possibilities.

My wife and I arrived at 2:40 in the morning and were very pleasantly welcomed and shown to a spacious and well appointed room. The Diaghilev is wonderfully located just a couple of blocks from Rothschild Blvd. where there are many restaurants and stores. The hotel itself is very clean, quiet and the staff is exceptionally helpful. As we left for a week of exploring Israel they gave us a card and told us to call if we had any sort of problem in Israel as the desk is staffed 24/7 and they would be happy to help us. The artwork hanging in the halls and the rooms are fun to enjoy and overall give the hotel a wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely stay here any time I am in Tel Aviv.

We stayed at the Diaghilev about two months ago, but the experience began actually with the first phone call to the hotel. The representative to whom I happened to speak, was kind, pleasant and patient. The next time I have called the hotel, I spoke to another team member, who was as kind and friendly as the previous.
While checking in, we found out a very surprising thing - each team member was remarkably kind, and made us feel that we were of the highest importance at that moment (even though we kept forgetting the entrance code for the parking garage:)). I must admit that we have experienced such treatment in NO other place.

The hotel itself is indeed a magical place. The hotel is a gallery that changes its exhibitions every 3 months, and each suite is a beautiful, spacious, accessorized, pampering mini gallery.(The provided towels are very thick!). One can see how much consideration and thoughts were invested into the details.

The location of the hotel in Tel Aviv is certainly an additional plus to the attractiveness of the place. We were able to reach by foot within minutes Rothschild Boulevard, Nachalat Benjamin, Sheinkin, HaCarmel market etc.

For the religious guests: It is almost a mission impossible to find a Kosher boutique hotel in Tel Aviv. The Diaghilev is Kosher, as it doesn't serve meals. One can cook in the suite (there is a stove) or have his meals in one of the dining locations with Kashrut certificate nearby the hotel. Concerning this matter as well as any other, the Diaghilev team will be happy to help.

I highly recommend this place and hope to have the chance to recreate this experience soon.
