“Not clean and crapy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

We rented an apartment for 2X2 nights. The first time we got an apartment on the first floor that is easy to access from the street( break in). The bed sheets were dirty. The second time we got an apartment on the 3rd floor, but no safe to put our stuff in. The bathroom wasn't clean after the previous guest. The apartment had a bad smell. All the doors are swalen and won't close. Over all dirty and neglected.
We pre-paid for our reservation and couldn't change it.
Never again!

I recommend this pace if you’re looking for a good rate and don’t think you’ll be spending lots of time in the hotel. The Yarden Beach Apartment is conveniently located. Three blocks from the beach, 24 hour stores and cabs. There is always someone in the lobby that can help you or you can call the number at the office door and someone will come to assist you. The person I dealt with the whole time even let me stay passed checkout time since my flight wasn’t till the late afternoon. The apartments were clean, great air-conditioning, stalked up with plates and cups. We did face the construction site but It really didn’t bother us since we were barely in the hotel. We were always out enjoying Tel-aviv/Israel.

Five of us stayed in two rooms at Yarden Beach condominium apartment to catch an early flight out of Ben Gurion airport. We had two one-bedroom apartments, and the accommodation was clean, albeit basic. There was a small kitchen, which we didn’t use, but it is suitable for preparing breakfast and simple meals. The bathroom had hot water and it was clean, but it was very small. Parking was available, for a fee.

What is great about the hotel is its proximity to the vibrant Tel-Aviv beach and to Allenby Street with its shops and restaurants, For those who love markets, the nearby Shuk Ha-Carmel offers not only fresh food (fruits, vegetables, mediterranean spreads and salads, meats, spices) but also dry goods of all kinds.

This isn’t a serviced hotel, so sometimes no one is at the front desk, but there is a note on how to contact the manager. When we arrived, he was there, and he was helpful; however, when we came back from dinner at night, he was no longer there.

Some people may not like the idea that there is a building that is either abandoned or under construction close to the hotel. Just like many urban centres, Tel-Aviv has its share of dodgy characters, and some of them walk around at night in this part of town.

We will definitely recommend this hotel, especially for short stays.

My wife and I have just returned after 2 weeks at Yarden Beach (3-17 june). If what you're looking for is luxury, spotlessly clean and 24 hr service, stay somewhere like the Hilton or Sheraton, this isn't for you. The bad first, as several people have remarked there's a building site at the back, and roadworks at the front. The immediate vicinity is somewhat run-down (ha ha) to say the least and the cleaner has difficulty with hebrew and english, that's about it for the bad.
The good - it's quiet at night, no problems sleeping, it's a couple of hundred yards to the beach, which is visible when you step out of the hotel. The free air-conditioning works a treat (almost to the point of frostbite!) and there's free wi-fi which was great. Eitan the manager (sorry we didn't get to say shalom when we left), was always friendly and helpful, and fixed our tours (which were amazing) and spoke to the cleaner. The carmel market is just around the corner and allenby st is stone's throw away as are a number of good restaurants and pubs. We basically slept and ate breakfast there, were never disturbed by builders and had a fantastic time in eretz yisrael. Would I recommend it ? It's a no brainer. The place is a winner every day of the week, as long as you don't expect the Hilton or Sheraton.

We stayed here due to an overbooking at their other property: Yarden Seaside Apartments.

It was FILTHY. We filmed cockroached crawling around. The view was of rubble (a construction site). Truly disgusting. Garbage in the front door. Buildings all around were covered in graffiti. Thank heavens we only stayed one night.
