“Finally a nice business hotel in TLV”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2010

Hotel located about a 20 minute drive from airport. Location wise not close to beach (there is shuttle service however), nor tourist attractions but centrally located enough to get where you need to go with minimal fuss. Train station very close by and taxis are plentiful. Hi tech amenities abound. Modern high rise building, elevator is pre programmed, only enter floor, elevator assigned no buttons to push otherwise. Check in fairly quick, staff get the job done, nothing more. Room was immaculate with parquet floors, no dirty carpeting, huge flat screen tv, both wireless (charged) and wired internet (free). Beds were ultra comfortable and bathroom had every thinkable amenity. Breakfast buffet is very nice and while menu in hotel is rather simple, food is fresh and tasty. A huge health club is located in the hotel building with many classes and all sorts of modern workout equipment, entrance is included with room. Across the driveway from the main entrance is a large supermarket, and a mall is part of the building complex. Restaurant row is just a few blocks away - try the Spanish Tapas bar, great food and service. A very nice uneventful stay. Will definitely be using this property again for TLV travel.

The high point of this hotel is the breakfast. It came with the room and was an excellent value. A buffet beyond the usual. The hotel is adjacent to the Azreili Center Mall so there is food and shopping right there. You can get the train to Jerusalem at the station right next door. If you have time you can walk down to the beach but it's at least a 30-minute stroll.

Rooms spotless and big. Good bed. Very quiet on 16th floor. Hotel is in very good shape.

Internet: Good and bad. The good news is it is fast. The bad news is that it is one of those third party credit card arrangements and is way too expensive at $32 USD per 24 hour period. Kludgy ordering where you can't re-order without setting up a new account each day. I tried to order the 60-minute service on my last morning but it wouldn't work. Ben Gurion Airport has free WiFi anyway.

I'd say this is a good hotel for business travel to Tel Aviv.

As others have mentioned this hotel is not close to the tourist spots but for our family with an elderly person we always needed a cab so it wasn't an issue. If you do want to walk to the center of Tel Aviv it's about 20 minutes - doable. However, if you wanted to go to the beach the hotel does run a shuttle and will provide you with towels.

Rooms are lovely with lots of little touches and conveniences for today's traveler. Outlet in the safe for charging your laptop. Pillow menu. A sound system that can be adjusted so it's in the audible in the bathroom.

Bedrooms have hardwood floors (yeah, no gross carpeting) and large benches at the foot of the bed. Flat screen tv's, comfortable side chair, down comforters, and lots of light. Plus there are large mirrors in the room and throughout the bathroom which has separate showers and soaking tubs.

Breakfast was excellent. Our long-weekend rate included a free dinner but the surprise was that there were no limitations on the menu or the number of courses. Starters as well as mains were huge and the quality was excellent. Our meal was easily the price of our room - a great bargain for us. In addition, the service was sweet and friendly.

Concierge was helpful and frank with his recommendations. There's a full-fledged Holmes gym attached to the hotel which is great over the typical dinky exercise room. The only downside is that internet isn't free which is annoying and is something that most people expect. Really, I wish the big hotels would change this practice especially since so many lesser hotels provide it.

Had we stayed longer in Tel Aviv we probably would have stayed on the beach but for our short city stay this hotel was fantastic!

On a recent trip to Tel Aviv, we stayed at the Crowne Plaza City Center. This is not to be confused with the Crowne Plaza on the beach at Hayarkon Street
which is far inferior. The first wonderful perk was an immediate upgrade to the Club Level, an absolutely gorgeous venue with perks galore.
The hotel is modern, efficient, and next to the Ayalon Freeway for those travelling north to Haifa or south to the airport and other destinations. We found the staff helpful, efficient, and eager to help. Having stayed in numerous hotels in Tel Aviv over the years, this is the first one that is of international standard: clean, modern, efficient, and inviting.

The hotel is nice for business travel. It is not close to the tourist spots. You will need to take a cab or a long walk to get to the tourist areas. For business the location is perfect. It is next door to a nice modern shopping mall. Plus the breakfast in the hotel was excellent.

One problem is the staff is very inexperienced. The check-in process is very slow and pray that you do not get one of the trainees to help you. When checking in I asked about included WiFI. The agent did not know about this or my included breakfast. It took a return trip to the desk to find out the details. Most questions to the front desk required the help of two or three people to find a simple answer.

The bigger problem was one day I was taking a shower at around 530pm. The TV was on, my laptop was out on one of the two beds and I was in the shower. While in the shower a maid came in turned down the other bed and turned off the bathroom lights on me. I was stuck in the dark trying to find the door.

Overall I would stay here again and hope that the staff has finally been trained.

This hotel is the epitome of state of the arts. The misunderstanding at check in was corrected within minutes and we were whisked off to the 21st floor. You have a private elevator directly to the floor you choose in the lobby.
Our room (suite ?) was very large and furnished to leave nothing to desire. Huge comfortable king bed with a variety of pillows. Floating floor with a large scatter rug under the bed. Dual shower/bathtub facilities with every amenity there is. Towels the size of bed sheets and lots of face cloths. No unsightly hair dryer on the wall, rather in a drawer in the cupboard together with an iron and board.
The large flat screen tv had a variety of stations plus...Great work desk with top of the line chair.
The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was immaculate. The bed was turned down when we returned from dinner. The bathroom tidied and towels changed.
Breakfast was excellent also. (it was nice to be asked if we slept well upon arriving to eat)
If I have one problem, it was that the room was not completely dark due to the glass door of the bathroom that allowed the spot lights of Azrieli to enter. Also the A/C was a bit loud, but this could also be considered 'white noise'
We had access to the Executive Club which is open 24/7 with complimentary drinks - wine, coffee plus imported mineral water and all the soft drinks. There were newspapers in several languages. Lots of snacks - both sweet and savory. Free internet with printer. Highly recommended.
I must mention that a big plus is that I could leave my car in Haifa, take the train to Azrieli, and never have to leave the complex. They have an extensive shopping plaza, pool, restaurants and spa. No traffic, no parking - no hassle.

I stayed in Crowne Plaza for two nights flying in from Vienna.
I loved the excellent service, the sophisticated room, the spa with great massage (deep tissue) and the yoga class in the morning.. One remark : the windows can't be opened (and that I'll never get used to) - but the floor is a wooden one (no carpet) and there is a fine fan-system in the room - so that will make up for the closed window. In case you cannot stay on the beach (because you are working) - don't hesitate : this is a great and very central place to stay ! I'll come back to it no doubt ! Barbara (Antwerp Belgium)
