“A bit hard to find - but worth the search”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

We walked right by Harav Kook St. when we were on the main drag ( Rechov Yaffo ) but once we found the connection ( it actually seems more like an alley ) it was a short walk up the hill and then a left turn into a true alley. Despite the confusion it was all clearly marked. Once you get there you are in another place and time. It was a cold winter night so there was no thought of eating outside in the inviting looking garden area, which was secluded despite being in the City center. This is a dairy restaurant with a nice selection of salads and while not he-man food was nicely prepared, tasty and filling enough but left enough room for some good deserts!

Great Dairy food. Great service. A wonderful escape from the bustle of the city. And great history to boot! Great location. All in all, a wonderful experience.

“Sit and eat outside”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

For me, this casual restaurant´s major advantage is the charming little garden where you can be seated. In the evening, it is VERY romantic. Seating inside is so so. The meals are excellent (well, I almost always get the mushroom cream soup and perfect stuffed artichokes) and Israeli wines good and reasonably priced. The waiters are young and friendly.

“Dairy, very nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

The place is beautiful! Old historical stone house, large garden. Food average, prices average, sometime too crowded.
