“Convenient and good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014 via mobile

For the past three nights we have eaten at olive and fish in Jerusalem Israel. What a treat and just across the street from the dan panorama. Tremendous selection the entrecôte was fabulous, the Israeli salad was excellent. Priced right and was a pleasure to dine there because of the wonderful service

“The most delicious food we experienced in Israel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

We happened to cross upon this restaurant while looking for a pizza place close to our hotel. We were not dressed for this place as we had t shirts, shorts and baseball caps. We looked at the menu from outside and decided to go there instead of pizza. They were so accommodating, great service and the food was absolutely incredible. 3 of us had the teriyaki chicken which was fabulous!! My husband had the fish and loved it. My husband forgot his credit card and went back to get it and they were waiting for him. We will definitely go there again on another visit to the Holy Land!!

“Despite its title - most dishes are meat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2014

Very nice medium size restaurant on the corner of Jabotinsky and Keren Heysod there are in fact several other restaurants and all slightly different. The meals at Olive and Fish was of a good quality and well prepared and served.

I would certainly eat there again.

“Okay group dinner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2014

We had a group dinner here one night of our tour.

The food was fine. It was served family-style with a range of vegetables and salads before the mains.

The service was a bit slow, especially knowing that we had a deadline to leave. We almost missed dessert, though that wouldn't have been a huge loss.

It may very well be that ordering from the menu is a different experience; so take this with a grain of salt, as this is about a group meal.

This may be a cultural thing, but I have a hard time with nice restaurants for nice meals using cheap paper napkins that fall apart the minute you use them. Is it really that difficult to use cloth napkins, or at least decent paper ones? It just detracts from a nice atmosphere.

“There Was no Fish, Just Olives.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014

This was a very disappointing experience. We were excited to go to this well rated restaurant, but the place was fresh out of fish. Not very pleasing for a place with that name.
