I booked a room here at the last possible minute online, and it was a very lucky choice. My room was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent, with a well-stocked corner grocery a few steps away and a main street with shops and restuarants just beyond that. The breakfast was varied and generous. Best of all, the young women at the front desk were unfailingly friendly, cheerful and helpful.
Here are some potential down sides, which didn't happen to bother me but might be an issue in some cases. There is no elevator, and it's a steep climb up to the rooms. My room was fairly noisy, being both on the street and close to the reception desk. The location is great, but it's true that in order to reach both the Old City and West Jerusalem destinations you have to walk uphill (or down and then up again).
Having said that...I loved this place and recommend it without reservation.
