“A MUST SEE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

I became unwell whilst here; I believe it was probably dehydration. Nobody wanted to move out of the way to allow me to sit down instead of fainting. If you are in Jerusalem though you have to visit this area; too many people for me - and too much religious vigour which should be expected but not my cup of tea. The area is interesting to see it is just far too packed with not so Christian people

“Way of the Cross”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Going through the Via Dolorosa was interesting from a "tourists" perspective. However, for a pilgrim who is trying to devote the time to meditation and contemplation on the Passion of our Savior, it is very disappointing to be in the midst of stall owners trying to catch the attention of everyone. After just a few stations, I had to stop as it was not conducive to prayer as I had hoped it would be. I decided to do it another day when I was on my own in my little corner in the Holy Sepulcher.

“A must see”

The Holy Sepulcher resides here among other great works of art and religion. Great bazaars and mostly open unlike the rat maxes of the Muslim quarter.

“I wouldn't call it Christian anymore”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Of course the holy sepulcher is there, but there are many other Christian's attractions that are not there, and you find mostly arabic markets in the place, so I really disagree with the name.
If you are a Christian you should not stay just there, you should go mainly thought via dolorosa and the mount of olives, of course, aside from the holy sepulcher, which is the main attraction there.
