“My favorite place to hang out in Jerusalem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

My favorite place to hang out in Jerusalem!

As I know "Nocturno" for many years it always was and still is the most pleasant place for me to hang out with family, meet friends and even conduct business meetings.

The place has grown, improved immensely, is connected to the Jerusalem Design Center, next to the "Bezalel" Art Academy and therefore always young and open in spirit. It's so central that one can't even miss it while crossing King George/Bezalel Streets.

And… I haven't yet spoken about the great food, salads and beverages! What a wonderful taste, so many great sorts of coffee, boutique beers and such great and attentive service.

Cafe "Nocturno" is certainly my first choice in Jerusalem!
Come and join me there…

“An amazing Café-Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

Someone recommended Nocturno to us - so we went... and we were glad we did, and we keep on returning. The food, which is prepared on a purely vegetarian and vegan basis, is tasty and carefully prepared and served in beautiful and unique dishware handcrafted by the artists in the Designers in the City compound, which adds to the experience. We keep on returning also because of the courteous and sympathetic manner of the staff, and of Amit, the owner of the place, who answers any question and offers explanations with great patience. The atmosphere is very relaxing and pleasant – sitting at Nocturno is truly a pleasant experience.
And the venue, with its authentic Jerusalem ambience, is a must for every Jerusalemite to drop by and for every Tel Avivian to make a special trip. In short, an amazing café-restaurant with an authentic Jerusalem ambience, that combines especially tasty food with artwork of young artists. Whenever we come we find a wide spectrum of people: the young set, students, intellectuals, Jerusalemites and non-Jerusalemites, religious people, tourists, and even a colorful grandmother – in short, a broad spectrum of people. Recommended, and kosher…

“The best plug-equipped café in the town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Best choice if

-You are a hypster or enjoy watching hypsters. Nocturno is a stronghold of Bezalel Art Academy students and all the people who attribute themselves to Bohemia.
-You need a plug. Every table, and even bar counter, has at least one. So come over for a date with your laptop.
-It's rainy and windy outside and you seek to warm up. They serve the coziest hot beverages in the town!
-You are a good judge of interior design.

Wrong choice if
-You want good food. The menu is characterized by overpriced pasta and stale sandwiches.
