Right in heart of west Jerusalem, this place is a real find. It's a boutique hotel near the intersection of Ben Yehuda and Jaffa, so you really feel in the heart of the city. It's not easy to get to by car (in fact you have to leave yours at the sister hotel, the Harmony, about 5 mins walk away) but great by foot as so much of the city is within a few minutes walk and the light rail is pretty much on the doorstep. The hotel itself is small but beautifully appointed. A great (and free) afternoon tea is served too which is a nice bonus after a day's sightseeing. Rooms are lovely (go for one higher up to escape the street noise at night), breakfast is great in the secluded garden out back and service was much better than the Israeli standard. A great choice.

Room Tip: Choose a room higher up and facing the back of the hotel to escape street noise

We stayed at the Arthur in May, recently after the hotel had opened. It was fabulous. The breakfast was spectacular, the location was perfect, and the staff were incredibly helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here because of the reviews, and wasnt disappointed.

The location is great, the rooms comfortable and the location is perfect for visiting the city centre. The old town is only a 10minute stroll from the hotel (to Jaffa gate). I will stay here again on my next trip.

The neighbourhood can get a bit noisy from the local bars, but this wasnt a problem for myself, and usually quietened at midnight.

The staff are friendly, but not all of them can give you good tips on where to eat/go out.

We recently spent a week in Jerusalem staying at the Arthur Hotel. We would happily stay there again if we returned to Jerusalem. Why? The hotel is very centrally located and within walking distance to most major sites (Old City, Shopping Centre, Tram, Markets, restaurants etc). The hotel is new, clean and with a helpful staff. The breakfasts are very good - a mix of Israeli and Western foods which was nice as it was a good opportunity to try an Israeli breakfast. The evening drinks and snacks were nice as well and it was very pleasant sitting outside in the courtyard at the end of the day. Staff were particularly helpful in getting us to the airport from Jerusalem at 3 am in the morning organizing a taxi and even gave us a packaged breakfast.

Room Tip: We had a room on the top floor off the street with a balcony - very quiet, very pleasant.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in a fantastic location close to transit links and shopping.

We had a gorgeous room on the 6th floor with great views over Ben yehuda and the bustling cafes below the hotel. The interiors of the hotel are Art Deco in style with rich colours and a hint of middle eastern textiles throughout.

The free happy hour was a nice touch, and the breakfast is very good quality and really sets you up for the whole day.

The room was on the small side, that would be my only complaint.

Would definitely recommend this to friends.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor with a view

Really friendly staff, good location, close to transport links, great breakfast. Our room was a little on the small side but not terrible. Happy hour with free wine and nibbles was a nice touch. Wifi throughout the hotel
