This café, situated in the middle of a shaded, tree-lined garden on derech Beit Lehem in the Baka area of Jerusalem is unique. There is no other café, dairy restaurant or coffee shop where one can sit in the middle of such a peaceful and serene experience. And in the winter there is a glass enclosed seating area for warmth and shelter. The café serves good coffee, lovely salads, and some unique dishes from the family's heritage of Kurdish cooking. Try the kubeh soup, the vine leaves and the unique Armenian vine leaves. Unlike so many other places, you won't be blasted out by the music only the waitstaff wants to hear. It's a great place to come, linger for coffee and conversation with friends, use the excellent Internet, and take in the beauty of the neighborhood and Jerusalem.
