“Good food, GREAT service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

I went to the Sadna with three other people and we had a great time. Our server was incredible - he was pleasant and attentive, as well as professional - he really elevated our experience. The food however, was less impressive. We started with a Tuna carpaccio, which was over complicated to my taste, a Fried Fish starter (I cant remember the name) which was unremarkable (it was literately a pile of plain fried fish), and a main course of mussels, which was nice yet a bit over done. Our mains included several choices from the grill that were all good, and a lamp osobuko special - which was OK. All in all, the food was really less impressive than I've hoped, but the great service and atmosphere completely uplifted the experience.

“Great Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

It happens to be in front of our hotel, and we decided to go with local friends there and we were very well impressed by the food and atmosphere. One of the best restaurants in Israel. One of my favorites from now on.

“Excellent food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

A very trendy eatery near the train station, serving deliciously prepared meals. We started with tuna sashimi (very fresh) and an Endive Salad (excellent!!), then a pasta and meat dish (very good, but I can't remember specifically what they were so they didn't knock my socks off), coupled with a recommended local wine. We thoroughly enjoyed the servers - all were very energetic and passionate about the food, the wine, and the restaurant. It was expensive ($250US for two, one bottle of wine, no cocktails) but it was worth it. I would eat there again in a heartbeat.

“Loved this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

Just outside the old Jerusalem train station. It's really convenient to hotels locatedto the south-west of the Old City on the Hebron Rd. The restaurant is run by the same group as Machneyuda, which already says a lot. The style is different yet one could describe it with similar terms: comfortable, lively, trendy. Everything we ordered was delicious and there was plenty of selection for a vegetarian.

“Great Food and Variety”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

The place was very modern, which matched the modern menu. The menu had great variety, and everything we had was excellent. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the preparation. We definitely recommend it and would go there again.
