“Fascinating Tour Through Israel's History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

A cemetery visit wouldn't be my usual must see, but Har (Mount) Herzl is a most fascinating look at Israel's past. Jabotinsky, Rabin, Meir, and of course Herzl are interred here, along with the country's war heroes from both before the country's establishment and in more recent times. Do not miss the wall commemorating Israel's terrorist victims from the start of the First Intifada, a sobering look at those Israelis who have perished in these senseless acts of violence. Prepare to be moved beyond measure before visiting this site.

“Where we are from”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

A must see. See where many of Israel's past leaders, fighters and dreamers are buried. See the memorials to Herzl, Meir, Rabin, etc. this is where the IDF visits during their training. They do this because it reminds you of all the great people who have fought and made Israel their life long dream and passion.

“Only with a guide”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Otherwise it would be just a stroll in a graveyard, which is not that interesting in my opimion. If you go there with a guide' each gravestone become a great story.

“Great view and the Calder is amazing!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

We rode the new light-rail all the way out, more to check out the line. When we arrived, we had a great view over the valley and the newly placed Calder is almost finished! Nice journey!

“Take time to visit the young soldiers not just Herzl and Begin monuments”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

Take time to visit the young soldiers not just Herzl and Begin monuments. Check out the monument for WWII and the Submarine monument too. There are many memorials worth visiting around the entire area. Take time.
