You cannot say that you have been to Jerusalem if you haven't seen the Old City. Much of Jerusalem today is a pretty modern city, but the Old City remains stuck in time, and that time still looks Biblical. Unfortunately much of the Old City is taken up with market stalls selling the same cheap souvenirs as the one before it, but the old time flavor of the place make a walk around both historic and cultural at the same time. Hold your valuables close to discourage pickpockets. Also see my reviews of the Cardo, Jewish Quarter and Muslim Quarter elsewhere on tripadvisor.com for more details.
