“A moment to remember”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Visiting the western wailing wall was an indescribable moment combining spirituality and history. It was meaningful, yet fun! It made you feel as if you lived in ancient times despite the mass of tourists. We were there in late October and the weather was hot but it was well worth the trip. Cameras are permitted and most locals are amenable to having their pictures taken - of course it is always polite to ask first.

“Always a joy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

If you can visit here on a Friday evening at the beginning of Shabbat, do so. Watching the singing and praying that take place at the beginning of Shabbat is something you will not witness anywhere else in the world. Just remember you should not take photos then.

“History”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

It's the only part of the old wall remaining and is worth visiting, but isn't significant except from a Jewish perspective. Praying there is part of the ritual and I'm sure is meaningful to some.

“GO ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

An experience of a lifetime- especially if you go on a Friday night. That is when the Jews party and celebrate!

Went into the bathroom and all the girls were getting ready for a "GOOD"night with their men.

Fun and lots and lots of Soldiers around so it's fun to snap pictures with them.

“Special”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

It is a good place to come to to think about religion and the Creator. The wall itself is the only remaining part of the supporting wall that was going around the Second Temple - not even the wall of the temple itself, but it is all down to what you make it be for you, isn't it? I find the place very therapeutic - it's incredible to sit there by the wall reading a passage from the Old Testament.
