“Pleasantly Surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012 via mobile

This is the 3rd hotel I've stayed at as part of a tour group on a cross country tour. I rank this as my top pick compared to the other two. Rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonable size. Attractively modernized. Breakfast & Dinner buffets are included in my room rate and im happy to say that there is a good variety, given that we're here 4 nights. Staff has been very attentive and courteous. Overall I give a good recommendation for a mid to high grade hotel.

This is a big hotel with many rooms, good for groups and big families i think.
We booked a deluxe room on the 5th floor because we wanted more space than a stander room has to offer... Well, the room was small and you cant even move in the bathroom. there is maybe less than 1 square meter to move !

The room was very clean, the bathroom also and the room is very comfortable. For this price, around 300 dollars per night, we have the right to expect more space than just 17 s meter and a small bathroom. It doesn't worth it.

The diner there was ok but expensive for a cafeteria because its not a restaurant... There is a buffet. I prefer to pay a la carte and get good food instead of paying 126 shekels to get unlimited food with no taste...

The waiters were nice and very polite but as usual, the room service doesn't exist in this 4 star hotel... We call at 11pm to ask for a bottle of water, since the minibar is empty in the room, and 30 minutes later we got it in the room... What a good service !

They charge 12 dollars for 24 hours Internet... a bit too much i think when many hotels provide it for free...

The location of this hotel is great for those who want to visit the old city.

Room Tip: It is useless to pay more for a deluxe room. You ll just get a small sofa that you ll not find in th...

We stayed here as part of a group tour and my comments should be read in that light.

This place was probably the nicest tourist hotel we encountered. Things were pretty comfy and we could freshen up with a late check out for our trip back to the United States.

As others have noted, the toiletries situation is probably hopeless here. They do provide (an uncertain number of) towels but don't look for anything else other than liquid soap/shampoo dispensers.

There was a little larger variety of entrees on the evening buffet than in some places. And the ambience of the entire place was pretty nice with amazingly enough, really good elevators (of course the hotel is pretty new.)

This is the one place we stayed in two weeks of traveling the country that I might want to come back to on my own.

Really good hotel in central Jerusalem. Staff courteous and efficient. Food and service really good. Room was a bit cramped, but bearable. Towels in bathroom could have been improved - a bit thin. Laundry facilities quick and efficient.
Jerusalem celebrates the Sabbath - and that includes hotels. So Saturday is a bit restricted for food and the hotel shop was closed. The coffee shop could only offer instant coffee and pre-prepared food, charged to room, not paid for at the time. However, if you bear all this in mind, you can deal with it! We were there for a week and this was the only day when things weren't quite up to standard. And we could understand the reasons. Kettle and tea/coffee in the room. Air con was efficient and quiet.
Wi-Fi facilities were quite expensive. No pool or fitness centre, but they will give you a voucher to sports club a few minutes' walk away.

Room Tip: We were on 7th floor at the front - great view over the city and not much street noise, possibly bec...

This hotel has three other hotels surrounding it, so you can be spoilt for choice depending on your budget and their availability.

The definition of laundry items was disputed and even with the assistance of our Israeli guide, proved difficult, HOWEVER a pair of my travel trousers were returned with a chemical spill, they paid for my trousers IN-FULL and wiped the remaining items from my laundry bill as good-will. Based on this experience alone I would recommend this Hotel!!

The souvenir store inside the Hotel had very fair prices well-below those in Bethlehem.
Internet availability and charges were challenging for many of our group.
You can get free internet in the Grand Court Hotel next door!!
The Hotel does not have a pool.

Room Tip: We were on the 6th Floor with a view of the central dining-room which was quiet. Remember not to us...

Stayed there for one night.
Very nice hotel, beautiful room.
Great location.
Breakfest was a bit disappointing, and no spa facilities.
But if your looking for a great place to sleep in Jerusalem for a great price , look no further.

Just spent two nights at this hotel. It was disappointing that it does not have a pool but they gave us a voucher to go to the Sports Club which is a 5 minute drive away. They have a restaurant there and indoor swimming pool which is fabulous and a very nice way to relax after all the walking one has to do in the Holy City. The hotel is within close proximity to the Holy City. The food was great too. The room was very clean but we had to call the housekeeper at 2pm to ask them to send someone to make up the room as it had not yet been done! The bed was a king size one but the cover was only a double bed one which was not comfortable as it was too small. There is a kettle and coffee/tea in the room which is fab. Altogether a lovely hotel.

Room Tip: Higher up is great. Ask for a room with a balcony as it is lovely to sit outside and take the city i...
