“pricey but nicey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

just a one night business stay, but a pleasant experience. the location is good (but not the best in jerusalem if you are on the old city, and some others are much much cheaper), staff helpful and polite, rooms clean and cozy, wifi fast and reliable. gym well equipped and the pool is heated and sheltered during colder months - and a nice, long, perfect for morrnig swimmer hour.
the only weakpoint: price about 300 euro per night is a bit too high even for 5stars in jerusalem - but i know there are bargains over the weekends, and others. actually, a weekend stay with my partner is what i have in mind next in jerusalem, and this is one of hot hotel candidates.

Room Tip: as for a room with a view to the city

The Inbal is our home away from home. The hotel is wonderfully and conveniently located, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast (which is included) is sumptuous, and the view from the executive lounge is the best ever. But more than all of this is the fact that the people who work at the Inbal have become familiar faces and the level of service is excellent.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the outside - the street view is interesting, the back view is nice and the on...

Our first time at the Inbal, we chose executive room with access to the executive lounge, which we found to be excellent value for money. The hotels position is wonderful easy distance of the old city room was very comfortable and food excellent, staff friendly and helpful would agree with all the very positive reviews and defiantly would recommend this hotel to others

We had planned this two night stay but it turned out far different than expected. The night we arrived (by car from the Negev) it was storming, and that night it turned to snow. It may have been the snowstorm of the century, if not it was one of the few. The room was, as usual, excellent, well appointed and comfortable. The gym has been redone; that was nice since we had only sneakers and the snow was a foot deep and we were unprepared to slog through it. The restaurants were excellent, I can't say enough about the Israeli breakfast.

The true test of the depth and commitment of the staff to the guests came when we needed to get to the airport. The city was closed down, the roads out shut to traffic. The staff checked all the possibilities, and following a conversation with another guest, we worked on getting to the last train out. The concierge desk found a taxi when none were to be had. They accepted from me the keys to the car which I was abandoning in their garage, with the obligation to turn the car over to the rental agency. All done with great charm, good humor and over-the-top assistance.

I would not stay elsewhere and recommend Inbal highly.

Room Tip: We like the rooms on the courtyard.

We stayed here recently on an extended trip to Israel. The first part was business in Tel Aviv and then we moved on to Jerusalem for a couple of days, vacation. This was my first time at the Inbal and my husband's second time. What a terrific location. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The service impeccable and the location is choice. We walked everywhere. 15 minutes to Ben Yehuda street for dinner. 15 minutes to the old city. Nothing is far and everything convenient. Our room was clean and quiet and we will certainly be back.

Lovely stay...room a little small
older rooms need uplifting.

Service excellent, food way too good

thankfully there is a good gym

location perfect for Jerusalem weekend

although there are newer, glitzier hotels in Jerusalem, the inbal provides better service and an infinitely more polite staff. The ambience respects the dignity of the city
