The staff at this hotel was very professional and I was treated very well. I am a member of the Priority Club, which they noticed. They are strictly observant of all Jewish holidays and I would not recommend you eat there for Friday night dinner or Saturday unless you observe Shabbat, because you must pay for a huge buffet and it is expensive. The hotel is located near the Central Bus Station, which means you can't walk anywhere, really, except to the Convention Center, which is attached to the hotel, and there is also a movie theater there. But a cab to the city is always available and it cost about $8 at the most, to get to the shopping and restaurants area, or to the Old City.
The concierge was very helpful, and arranged a trip to Masada for us, and also allowed me the use of free wireless internet in my room for one hour at a time (using a code) but I believe that you normally have to pay for the use of the code and it is $5 per hour. They have an excellent Indian restaurant in the lobby and also other shops. The breakfast, which was included in my room rate, was incredible and full of fresh and wonderful foods--breads, cheeses, vegetables, etc. Meat is not served for breakfast in Israel, nor is it necessary--the dairy foods are marvelous. Make sure to get a room rate with breakfast included, because some in our group didn't have that and were sorry.
