This time I was in Jerusalem for business. Some free time but mostly meetings. The Crowne Plaza was a perfect place for me, and the front desk and concierge were helpful and super accommodating. I stayed there 2 years ago as well and was pleased to see that they had really upgraded their services, rooms, and amenities. I can't say enough about the helpfulness of Bene, the concierge. He seems to know everything about the hotel, surroundings, and getting to and from.
The hotel is very convenient to the government section, business area, and museums. They have a shuttle to the old city that can be helpful.
This is also a great hotel for the last night before going to the airport. Instead of a taxi (super expensive), I took a shuttle for much less money. Bene set it up for me and the Crowne Plaza was one of the last stops so it only took about 45 minutes to get to the airport (crazy driver so may not be best for those with anxiety disorders!).
I was upgraded to one of the Club Rooms so my experience may have been influenced by that. My room was on an upper floor, great views, very quiet, super nice bed, and easy to rest, work and sleep. Go for that if you can.
