I needed to rent an apartment for my parents to be in close proximity to my house. We looked at the apartment before deciding to rent it for the one night only and decided to go ahead despite the exhorbitant cost - $450 for the one night plus cleaning costs.
On the day, my parents arrived no one from My Jerusalem apartments was there to meet them, They received the key from the guard downstairs. The apartment was filthy. The beds had clearly been slept in and there were hairs lying all over the pillows. In one bedroom there was not even a sheet under the blanket. The bathrooms were worse - again hairs everywhere and in the toilets. There was no one to contact to complain at the time because the weekend had already begun. There was a set of sheets on the table - as if we were meant to make up the beds ourselves.
We complained to My Jerusalem once their offices were opened the next week. I am sure that calls were being screened as it was very difficult to get hold of Ariella (even on a mobile phone). She claimed that the owner had cleaned the place and would not accept our version of how it looked. She also claimed that the sheets on the table were spare sheets for people who stayed for longer periods in the apartment. Why then put them there if someone was staying for one night only? My daughter has stayed in air bnb apartments throughout the world and had never seen an apartment in this condition.
Bottom line - stay away from the Moshava apartment and stay away from My Jerusalem apartments!
