“An excellent place for lunch or just cofee and cake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

We've been there a few times already and everything is always great.
Salads, Pasta and even just coffee are all very good.

“Best coffee place in the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

This is one of my favorite cafes in Jerusalem. The food and service is always exceptional. I especially love the menu's variety and innovative food items. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

“Best dairy restaurant in Jerusalem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013 via mobile

Our family went for brunch on recommendation of a friend. He said it might have been best meal he ever had in Israel. I was wondering what you can do with eggs and cheese to make them so good.
We ordered a toast and split it 4 ways as an appetizer. It had cheese and some vegetables. Salad was served on the side. It was great. I had the Spanish omelette with potatoes, tomatoes and onions served with salad. It was superb. The spinach shakshuka and halloumi sandwich were also great. They have both iced cappuccino and the Israeli milk shake style iced coffee both of which were also good. The omelette and shakshuka were both served with delicious bread. The wait staff all spoke great English and errrr very friendly and attentive. The only complaint I have is that the wait for the food was longer then I expected. Easily the best dairy restaurant in Jerusalem with a robust menu. I would return in a heartbeat.

“We've been going there for years”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

and if you go - you'll really have a special occasion if you get to meet Kalo himself. Amusing ans surreal. My daughters' favorite hangout and dining place in the whole wide world. For me it's great as well, but overpriced. But so are all the restaurants in Israel.

“Great meal and experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

The restuarant has a retro atmosphere making the visit special even before you start eating. The breakfast menu is great and boasts a big selection of salads. The sandwiches are great, as are the salads. We recommend the onion soup- absolutely superb. There is an option to eat inside or out and the service was excellent and the waiters and waitresses were friendly. They dealt extremely well and with food allergies.
