The restaurant is on the roof of the Mamilla Hotel. There is a 180 degree panorama of the walls, towers, churches, mosques and minarets, hotels and office buildings of Jerusalem. All floodlit, with
flags flying. Service is prompt and to the point. Patient waiters explain the fare and each dish offered.
First courses include Meditterranean veggies, some with meat, fish, foie gras. Next, oven baked meats & veggies, some exotic pasta dishes. Meat courses include beef, chicken and lamb dishes, several
superb fish, and the very special Mamilla Hamburger. Drinks: 7 brands of beer, dozens of brands of the stronger stuff. Desserts: Dreamy chocolate with various additions, Baklava (local sweetcakes),&
almond and sorbet creations...A marvellous dining treat. As good on our second visit as on the first.
This is not an inexpensive dinner, but is one that dwells long in one`s happiest travel recollections.
